Philadelphia Eagles - Home Stadiums

A. Philadelphia Eagles franchise was established in 1933 as the Philadelphia Eagles. With the exception of one season in World War II, the team has been known as the Eagles: 1933 - 1942: Philadelphia Eagles 1943: Phil-Pitt Steagles 1944 - Present: Philadelphia Eagles 

B. The Eagles have played in the following home stadiums: 

1. Baker Bowl, Philadelphia 1933-35  

2. Philadelphia Municipal Stadium (renamed JFK Stadium in 1962), Philadelphia 1936-39  

 3. Shibe Park (1940-52) / Connie Mack Stadium (1953-1957), Philadelphia 1940-57  

4. Franklin Field, Philadelphia 1958-70

  

5. Veterans Stadium, Philadelphia 1971-2003  

 6. Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia 2003- Present
