Anaheim Ducks - Franchise, Team, Arena and Uniform History

1. Anaheim Ducks – The Franchise History
This franchise was established (by established we mean the year of the franchise’s first game) in 1993-94. From their founding in 1993-94 to the end of the 2005-06 season, the team was known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Then beginning in 2006-07, they changed their name to the Anaheim Ducks.

2. Anaheim Ducks – Championships/Great Accomplishments
One Stanley Cup Championship:
2006-07 defeated Ottawa Senators 4 games to 1

One Stanley Cup finals loss:
2002-03 lost to New Jersey Devils 4 games to 3

Two Western Conference Championships:

2002-03, 2006-07

Six Division Championships:
2006-07 Pacific Division Champions 110 points: 48 wins - 20 losses - 14 OT losses

2012-13 Pacific Division Champions 66 points: 30 wins - 12 losses - 6 OT losses

2013-14 Pacific Division Champions 116 points: 54 wins - 20 losses - 8 OT losses

2014-15 Pacific Division Champions 109 points: 51 wins - 24 losses - 7 OT losses

2015-16 Pacific Division Champions 103 points: 46 wins - 25 losses - 11 OT losses

2016-17 Pacific Division Champions 105 points: 46 wins - 23 losses - 13 OT losses

3. Anaheim Ducks – Home Arena History
The Ducks franchise has played in only one home arena, although it has been known by four different names:

A. Anaheim Arena (planning/construction pre 1993)

B. Pond of Anaheim (1993)

C. Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim (1993–2006)

D. Honda Center 2006 - Present
